Hungary Fully Funded Scholarship Programme for Christian Young People (SCYP) 2026-2027
A Timely Opportunity for Christian Students from Pakistan
The Scholarship Programme for Christian Young People (SCYP), offered by the Government of Hungary and coordinated by the Hungary Helps Agency, is a fully-funded scholarship designed for Christian young people from nations facing religious pressure — and Pakistan is listed among the eligible countries.
If you are a Christian young man or woman in Pakistan, this is an excellent opportunity to further your education abroad, develop your calling, and prepare for service in your homeland.
On this day, 4 November 2025, we at Good Samaritan Ministries want to alert you early: the application portal is currently closed, but the next opening will be in Autumn 2025 (expected December 2025) for the academic year 2026-2027. So now is the perfect time to get your documents ready.
Why This Matters for Church Planting in Pakistan
At Good Samaritan Ministries, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, our mission to establish churches, train leaders and empower young believers in Pakistan goes hand in hand with educational opportunities. When Christian young people gain international education, they return equipped to serve, lead, and support church planting in Pakistan. In this way, the scholarship is not just about study — it’s connected to our vision of reaching hearts, guiding youth, and building Christ-centred leadership.

How to Write a Strong Motivation Letter
Your motivation letter is one of the most important parts of your scholarship application. It allows the selection committee to understand your personality, goals, and the reasons behind your academic ambitions. A well-written motivation letter should reflect who you are, why you are applying, and how this scholarship will help you achieve your long-term objectives.
Key points to include:
-
Personal Introduction: Briefly introduce yourself, your educational background, and your current field of study or work.
-
Reason for Applying: Explain clearly why you are interested in the specific scholarship and study program in Hungary. Mention what attracts you to the country, university, or course of study.
-
Academic and Career Goals: Describe how the scholarship will help you grow academically and professionally. Show how the knowledge and experience gained will contribute to your future career plans and your community or country.
-
Relevant Achievements: Highlight academic accomplishments, leadership roles, volunteer experiences, or other achievements that demonstrate your commitment and potential for success.
-
Personal Qualities: Emphasize qualities such as motivation, responsibility, teamwork, and adaptability—traits that scholarship committees value.
-
Future Plans: Explain your goals after completing your studies. Whether you plan to continue higher education, enter a specific profession, or work on community development, make sure to express how your education will have a meaningful impact.
-
Writing Style: Keep your letter clear, concise, and well-structured. Avoid unnecessary repetition, stay formal but authentic, and keep it within one to two pages. Proofread carefully to avoid grammatical or spelling errors.
Tip: Before you start writing, read the official scholarship guidelines to understand any specific points they want you to address in your motivation letter. Always tailor your letter to match the program’s objectives and values.
Why We Are Reaching Out to Young Christian Men and Women
We believe that young Christian students are the future of the Church in Pakistan. At Good Samaritan Ministries (and through our network including the Good Samaritan Church of Pakistan in Lahore, Maranatha Christian High School, Revelation Bible College & Seminary and Free Urdu Bibles Project), we have seen how empowered young believers can bring fresh vision, leadership and impact.
This scholarship helps them become equipped academically and spiritually. When they return, they join us in church planting in Pakistan, sharing God’s love, guiding others in Christ, and fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19).
That is why we emphasise this opportunity—it aligns entirely with our passion.

A Message of Love and Encouragement from Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir
As this opportunity opens new doors for many young Christian students in Pakistan, Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir shares a heartfelt message filled with faith, hope, and purpose:
“For more than sixteen years of ministry, it has been my deepest passion to help young men and women discover their God-given potential and to see them succeed in life. Every scholarship, every open door, and every act of guidance is an expression of Christ’s love at work in us and through us.
My prayer is that you will not only grow in knowledge but also in faith, character, and compassion. Wherever God sends you, go with courage, humility, and the desire to serve others. Remember, education is a gift—but wisdom, guided by love, is the true reward.”
Through Good Samaritan Ministries, this vision continues—empowering students to shine as lights in their communities and to glorify God through their achievements.
