Who we are

Good Samaritan Ministries: a church-based Christian organisation in Pakistan

Good Samaritan Ministries is a church-based non-profit Christian organisation in Pakistan. Since its inception in 2009 its mission has been planting churches, alongside free Urdu Bibles, revival crusades, Christian schools and leadership training. Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, a Pakistani pastor, is the visionary behind this church planting initiative.

By God's grace hundreds of churches have been planted so far, from Lahore to remote villages, and new churches are established every year. Below are the ways the Lord has used to plant churches in Pakistan.

Church planting through online Zoom meetings

The mission of church planting via online Zoom meetings is to reach the most unreached people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through technology we connect with individuals across Pakistan and around the world, gathering the body of Christ in one virtual space to share the Gospel, encouragement and motivation. It has become one of the most effective approaches to planting churches today.

Church planting through free Urdu Bibles

Church planting through the distribution of free Urdu Bibles began when the founder of Good Samaritan Ministries purchased five Urdu Bibles and started giving them away. Since then more than 150,000+ free Urdu Bibles have been distributed at Gospel crusades, prayer festivals and other events, reaching churches and organisations across the country. The transforming power of the Word of God has touched thousands of lives and led to hundreds of new churches.

Church planting through youth conferences and seminars

In 2015 Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir returned to Pakistan after studying in the USA. Since then he has organised youth conferences and seminars to engage and equip Christian young people, inspiring them to spread the Gospel. Many who attended went on to join the Bible college and are now visiting villages and remote areas to plant churches in Pakistan.

Church planting through evangelistic Gospel crusades

Church planting through Gospel crusades began when Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir delivered his first sermon at a large evangelistic revival crusade on July 21, 2012. It was the first time a young Pakistani pastor had preached at such a massive Gospel crusade in Pakistan. Thousands were saved, and many began serving the Lord in their communities, contributing to the planting of churches across the nation.

Church planting through outreach prayer programmes

In 2009 Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir began his ministry in villages and remote areas. Over the years he has visited hundreds of villages, towns and cities across Pakistan, impacting and inspiring thousands. Many have since joined our Bible college and now support the mission of planting churches.

Church planting through social media is essential in today's world. Through his Facebook page and other platforms Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir reaches hundreds of thousands of people in Pakistan and beyond with the Gospel; many lives have been changed, and those individuals are now doing God's work.

Church planting through motorbikes for pastors

Thousands of pastors in Pakistan travel for ministry by public transport or bicycle. Good Samaritan Ministries has given hundreds of motorbikes to pastors so they can reach more villages and towns to preach the Gospel. We have many testimonies of pastors reaching more people and planting more churches after receiving a motorbike.

Church planting through Christian schools

Establishing Christian schools is a primary mission of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, with an impact that lasts for generations. In our schools 600 Christian students receive free education for spirit, soul and body: alongside their studies they grow in the Lord through Bible study in class, prayer time and church activities. These children will be instrumental in this mission in the years to come.

Church planting through Revelation Bible College

In 2018 Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir founded Revelation Bible College to equip more leaders with the Word of God for the mission of planting churches. To date more than 1,000+ graduates have been trained, and they are now planting churches all over Pakistan and winning souls for Jesus. We provide Bibles, books and other resources to our team of pastors and graduates so that they can be more effective.
